What is going on?!?

Hi friends! I welcome several new followers of Logan's journey as well as saying "I'm sorry" to the faithful followers since I have not updated lately. Things have been pretty crazy and this has been a rough week and a half. We are not sure, but think Logan had a migraine last week. He had a headache that just reduced him to screaming and he couldn't keep anything in his stomach. Then he woke up the next day and was perfectly fine. He ate, played and pretty much acted like normal. Then Logan had croup (again) last weekend, and he hasn't been able to shake it. It is better, and really isn't croup any longer. But, he still has a cough, runny nose, and has been throwing up the past couple of days. At first, we thought it was related to just the congestion and drainage or maybe taking medicine. He couldn't keep his Methotrexate down and ended up taking the 11.5 pills three times before he actually kept them down. That was a little more than traumatic for all involved. Then we thought maybe it was just the coughing. He does fine in the afternoons and evenings (until medicine time), so we thought maybe it was just that he did not feel great and didn't want to take the meds or something. We still do not know what is going on, but we certainly hope it gets better over the weekend. Anyway, it has been a week of ups and downs and little sleep.

Otherwise, we are hanging in there. We are thankful that he has not had any fevers, since this has kept him at home and out of the doctor's office and hospital. But, as you can tell by the picture, he has not been a very happy camper. He mostly wants to take it easy and snuggle on the couch. He has been pretty needy lately. The upside to that is that he becomes very complimentary (at least to me) when he is like this. Normally, he is a pretty sweet boy. But now, he is constantly telling he how pretty, beautiful, and sweet I am. He tells me how he loves me straight to his heart, and how he is going to keep me or choose me for his mom forever. I do not like that he is not feeling well which is leading to this, but I certainly cannot turn down such sweetness.

Prechemo update

Logan has been doing well and staying healthy this month. He has been enjoying his friends at daycare and school as well as family time. Here is a picture from preschool (sorry it is a little blurry) where he is "ice skating" and learning about winter.

Health wise, Logan has fortunately stayed healthy so far despite being around kids at daycare, school, and even part of the family who have been/are sick. Hopefully this will hold out since he has chemo this week. I would like to know what his numbers truly are without being influenced by a cold/virus/anything.

Logan's Avengers has gained quite a few followers lately, so we want to say "welcome!"  We appreciate you following and supporting Logan along his fight.
